Walk To End Lupus

I suffer from a disease called lupus.  It has been quite devastating to my life.   Lupus is an autoimmune disease.  Autoimmune means your immune system attacks healthy cells as it would a foreign invader. 

Lupus Foundation of America- "Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, and kidneys".

My skin, joints, lungs, blood, kidneys, and digestive tract are affected by this disease.  To learn more click here.

There is no cure for lupus, so awareness and fundraising is important. On July 13th, I will be participating in the lupus walk.  I am gathering donations that go to the Lupus Foundation of America.   The money will help with research and  provides various support efforts for lupus sufferers.
