Vacation Jars Part 2

This is a continuation of this post. I Just wanted to give more examples of how these can be put together. These are the jars from my latest vacation.  I love making them!  It is a great way to save memories.

Bahamas Contents: Sand, shells, sea glass, thimble, flag pin, currency, Pressed penny with a dolphin on it, and the beads from my various hair braids.
Fort Lauderdale Contents: Sand, shells, sea glass, champagne cork, key chain, magnet, drink umbrellas, and a pressed quarter with a mermaid on it.
Aruba  Contents: sand, shells, sea glass, palm tree magnet, cruise ship figurine, bottle cap, currency, cruise ship map, wine cork, drink umbrella, and the bracelet used as a name tag.
Curacao Contents: sand, shells, rocks, sea glass, thimble, magnet, Holland drink flag, cruise ship card, chi chi doll, pirate coin, and the name bracelet.

I need more shelf space for all my jars!  Someday, I hope to have a whole wall of them.

  2. What did you think about the cruise ship disaster? I know you are a big cruiser- would you go again?

    1. I think things happen, but not often enough to discount cruising. Planes have issues as well, but most people continue to fly. I avoid the Carnival cruise line as it is. I stick with the 4 and 5 star rated ships and haven't had a problem. I will definitely go again in the future.

    2. What cruise lines do you recommend? I have never been and have always wanted to. I am a little nervous after this Carnival fiasco. I want to make jars like yours but am no where near as creative and artistic as you. You have a great eye for those things!
