Ingredients:
- 4 tilapia filets
- 1/2 cup of canned, diced tomatoes--drained.
- 1/2 cup canned tomato sauce
- 4 Tablespoons of ketchup
- 4 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons of cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of syrup
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Combine all of your ingredients (minus the fish) in a bowl to create your sauce.
- Place your fish filets in the bottom of a separate bowl or container with a lid. Pour the sauce over the fish.
- Place the lid on the bowl and refrigerate/marinate for 30 minutes.
- Remove your filets from the sauce and place them on a greased baking pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until your fish is flaky.
- Heat the remainder of the sauce on the stove. The sauce can then be spooned onto your cooked fish.
I plated mine with some dirty rice.
Enjoy!
