Parmesan Crusted Talapia

This is an EASY way to add flavor and texture!

Ingredients:
  • Talapia filets (this crust also works well on flounder, pork chops, and chicken).
  • Can of bread crumbs
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
You can also add oregano, parsley, and sage for more flavor.  I do that when using this on pork chops.
I saved an old Parmesan container to store my bread crumb mixture in (I keep it in the freezer).  This makes it super easy to shake onto the meat and I waste less doing it this way.

Instructions:

  1. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper together. I'd say my mixture is about 3 parts bread crumbs to 1 part Parmesan.  I just add a touch of the salt and pepper.
  2. Rub both sides of your filet with olive oil.
  3. Cover both sides of the filet with the bread crumb mixture.
  4. Cook it in a frying pain or bake in the oven as you normally would.
That's all!  Easy, right?

Enjoy!!
