Ingredients (for 2 potpies):
- Oven safe stoneware bowls/ramekins
- Can of beef with gravy
- Can of peas and carrots
- Can of cubed potatoes
- Package of biscuit mix
- Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees.
- Grease your bowls.
- Mix your can of beef and gravy with your veggies and potatoes. I only needed about 1/4 can of the veggies and potatoes to make filling for 2 potpies. I put the rest in the freezer for another meal.
- Pour your pie filling filling into your bowls.
- Prepare your biscuit mix according the the package.
- Place the biscuit dough over top of your pie filling. Cover the entire top with dough.
- Place the bowls on a baking pan (to catch drips) and bake them at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Each oven will be different. My toaster-oven took 20 minutes for the biscuit dough to get brown. Keep an eye on it! Your dough will tell you when it is done! It will burn quick if you loose track of it. The dough should turn golden brown and be cooked all the way through and the filling will be bubbling.
- Cool and serve! We ate right out of the bowls it baked in.
