How to Clean Microfiber Fabric

Microfiber fabric is a pain to clean, because water and regular cleaners tend to leave water stains on the fabric.  I found this solution on pinterest awhile ago.  The original blog post for it is here. I used it to clean a used couch I picked up today.  Being second hand, it needed a good cleaning.  This process worked great!

Supplies Needed:
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Spray bottle
  • White scrubbing sponge (must be white to prevent color transfer)
  • White cloth/towel
Spray the soiled areas with the alcohol.  Use your sponge to scrub the area.  I followed the scrubbing with a towel.  Once you have removed all the grime, let it air dry.  Air dry will be quick, because it is alcohol.  Once it is dry, you can use a dry scrub brush to "fluff" the fabric.  All done!
You can see the dirt I got off

All clean!
